You made promises you failed to keep, and left just as quickly as you came into my life. Sometimes I think it would have been so much better if we never talked or even became that close.. Only because I let you in and try to change me. You did win at that.

But I want my life back. And I guess if pretending as if I never knew you gets me there, then I guess that’s just how it has to be.
